The THOMPSON BAKERY of Gregory Town has RE-OPENED and is newly remodeled! The Bakery had its roof taken off and the cabinets destroyed by the hurricane. They have been in business for over 40 years have been featured in several international magazines, including Bon Apetit.
Owner, Daisy Thompson, will be happy to see all her customers again! Monica, co-owner, is still recovering from the auto accident. You may also see the other sisters, Frances, Betty & Theola. You will be greeted as warmly as anyplace on the island!
They will accept telephone orders and welcomes drop-in customers.
They have fresh BREADS, white, raisin and coconut; Their WORLD FAMOUS PINEAPPLE & COCONUT TARTS; assorted PIES, cherry, key lime, pumpkin; blueberry, coconut and banana cream, etc,; CAKES & CANDIES. Special orders taken for birthday cakes and other special requests.
The Bakery is located at the very top of the hill, overlooking the harbor, at the rear of their home. Hours: 9 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
