On April 24, 2004, a wedding took place at Capricorn House, former residence of the noted author, Rosita Forbes. The couple are Karianne Ellingsen of Lloyd Harbor, New York and Kurt Lange of Huntington New York, Reverend Bethel performed the ceremony. Wedding guests stayed at Cigatoo Resort. There were a number of nights of parties hosted by Sunset, Tippy's, Dolcevita Anne and Clyde Bethel of Mate and Jenny fame. Anne Bethel, Ruth (the grooms mother) and Bernadette did the arrangement's. Doctor Seabreeze did the music one night and Elliott and SnapShot band and Mo the DJ played at the wedding. The caterers were Tippy's and Dolcevita.Flowers were by Henry White the Eleuthera florist, all the cars were rented through Stanton Cooper.Burrows Food and Liquor supplied extras and the beer and liquor.Vernita from Destinations Travel made all the travel arrangements. We had guests from Norway, Denmark, Italy, Canada and from Texas, Michigan, New York and Florida. Everyone had a marvelous time and will be returning to Eleuthera as it was the perfect place for a wedding. (as you know!)Everyone was a pleasure to deal with and all went off beautifully.Keith Sands took care of all the exterior design and lighting and Anne Bethel and Elizabeth Johnson coordinated all the staff.
